Meet the sweetly associated rapee COCOA. In its composition you will find ashes of the bark of the cocoa tree (Theobroma Cacao), less often seeds. This tree grows wild on the banks of the Amazon, and its fruits are considered “food of the gods”. Theobromine contained in cocoa is an alkaloid that dilates blood vessels and a diuretic substance. This strong rapee is reddish in color. It contains a smaller amount of ash and has an earthy aroma. It comes from the Huni Kuin tribe. Sometimes it is also produced by the Kaxinawá tribe.
